The system fixed capital cost is the capital cost that occurs at the start of the project regardless of the size or architecture of the power system. The system fixed capital cost adds to the total initial capital cost of the system and, therefore, to the total net present cost. Because it affects the net present cost of all system configurations in the Size your own by the same amount, it has no effect on the system rankings.
