Important: Hydrogen Load is part of the Hydrogen module. See Adding Modules for more information on purchasing modules.
A hydrogen load represents an external demand for hydrogen. Either a reformer or an electrolyzer can serve this demand. You have the same options for specifying the hydrogen load as you do for the primary electrical load and the thermal load: you can either synthesize hourly data by entering daily load profiles, or you can import time series data. Refer to the articles on the primary or thermal load for information on doing so.
Click either the Hydrogen button to open the Hydrogen Load Set Up page. The details of a load in a given system are sometimes not available, so HOMER can build (simulate) a load in several ways (see Adding a Load). After HOMER creates the load, you can edit it in several ways, including modifying individual time steps.
After you have added a load, you can make changes on the Hydrogen Load page. See the Load Profile section of the help.
