Product: HOMER Pro 3.11

Looking at the HOMER application, it has predetermined equipment loaded in the drop down menus.  If we were able to obtain equipment specifications for other equipment, can someone plug those in and run the HOMER model?

Yes, you can easily add a new component (e.g. PV, wind turbine, generator, battery) or resource (e.g. fuel) to HOMER's library. 

You create a new component by selecting and then using the "Copy" button to copy an existing component HOMER Pro's Library view. This will create a new component in which you can change the properties as required. Be sure to give the new component a unique name to distinguish it from others. HOMER Pro will add this new component to your component library. The new component will be included in the catalog of the component's Set Up window. New components that you create will show up in bold in the component's drop down quick-pick menu.
