Load data in HOMER

I need to model the load and more importantly the solar production on weekday holidays so I have to adjust the typical on peak credit of ($.225/kWh) to ($.057/kWh) at these times.  Your input  (matrix) is for weekdays and weekends only, or can I change that profile byday/week/month of the year?

You can enter the load data in two ways.  You can either synthesize it from one or more 24-hour load profiles, or you can import a data file containing time series data for the whole year.

If you choose to synthesize data from load profiles, you can enter a different 24-hour load profile for each month of the year, and or even enter one weekday profile and one weekend profile for each month of the year.

If you choose to import a data file, the data in that file can have whatever complexity you wish it to have.  It has to contain a number for every time step in the year, and you can adjust every one of those numbers independently.  If you want the load to jump every third Tuesday afternoon in August and September, you can make it do so.  If you want the load to drop on St. Patrick’s day, you can make it do so.

Note that you can also import a data file containing the grid power price in every time step of the year.  So you can make the power expensive on every third Tuesday afternoon or on St. Patrick’s day, you can make it so.
