Modeling a PV tracking system in HOMER

A suggestion for further development: in the tracking model it's not foreseen the single axis tracking with the pivoting axis north-south oriented with the panels that look to the east in the moornig and to the west in the afternoon.

You can model that situation in HOMER by setting the PV tracking system to "Horizontal axis, continuous adjustment" and the azimuth to 90°.

HOMER will even plot the slope and azimuth if you use tracking, so you can verify that the tracking system is doing what you expect:

That graph shows the azimuth is due east (-90° west of south) in the morning, and due west in the afternoon.  The slope is vertical at sunrise, reducing to zero at noon, and increasing back to vertical at sunset.
